Really?

L (my 4-year-old): Mommy did you go to the dentist when you were a kid?

Me: Sure, honey.

L: Did you go to my dentist?

An uncomfortable silence.

Me: Ah, no. I don't think she was born yet.

  7. Hey, i took my kids to the dentist on Tuesday. THeir dentist? Looked like he hadn't hit puberty yet. He is 27, but dang he looks YOUNG!!

  13. It's the same on our end too. When reviewing a medical history I can't help but say to myself, "this person wasn't even born until after I finished dental school!--And they're an adult!"

  14. That's ok. My youngest thinks I am ancient. Really. He goes around telling everybody, I mean, EVERYBODY, "My mom is 40!" Ugh.
