This is the only picture I have from the party last weekend. You know, the one with the air guitar and the flying glasses. Please notice that my glasses are still on my face.
Little do I know they soon won't be.
Ralf got a nice email from the blond guy who corrected me about the Sousaphone, saying that it was really nice talking to me.
This is why I love German men and probably would have married a German even if Ralf had been better at resisting my charms. I mean, can you imagine an American man writing an email to another American man saying how great it was to talk to his wife?
Nope, me neither.

Perhaps 50 years ago an American man may have commented, but today? That ain't happening.
ReplyDeleteHmm. Interesting concept of female as chattel. So the nice man complimented your owner on how pleasant you were? In a very retro way, cute. In another way, unbelievably sexist unless the man was a very good friend of your husband's and mentioned it in passing.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture...most the German men I've met have been very nice and gentlemen.
ReplyDeleteOh I love a German accent, especially from a man Lol! Looks like you had a great time at the party. Great photos, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photo. You're very pretty!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! That does sound like something my FIL might do. I think he considers himself an Austrian more than German. (He moved to Austria during WW 2.)
ReplyDeleteNice picture. As for the email, I think it just depends. Hubby had one of his co-workers tell him that he enjoyed talking and dancing with me at the company Christmas party one year. I thought that was nice!
ReplyDeleteG's comment was hilarious!
They are very good looking!!
ReplyDeleteAt least the only pic was a good pic. I need to party with you sometime. Ever come to MN?
ReplyDeleteLove the picture! You are adorably cute! :)
ReplyDeleteA good photo!
ReplyDeleteBut pray - tell me why the guy didn't write to YOU directly to say how nice it was to talk to you?
