Playing the Hand You're Dealt

Princess Leia's cinnamon bun hairstyle wasn't Carrie Fisher's idea. In fact, there was a very real risk she'd go down in history as as Princess Dork Hair and be laughed out of Los Angeles.

Instead she carried it off with aplomb and became a Hollywood icon.

Make of that what you will.

  2. True another important lesson - even if you do everything right, some wise guy can always come along and screw it up.

  3. Maybe it was the hairstyle along with the metallic bikini combo.

  5. Tommy Lee Jones was convinced, upon finishing "The Fugitive," that it was the worst movie he had ever been in and that it marked the definitive end of his career in Hollywood. Not sure that's relevant, but there it is. Guess it just goes to show that you're often your own worst critic. (God that was a stupid comment!!!)

  6. Maybe the real lesson here is that you should always work with Harrison Ford.
